    This is a decent course for Objective C, but it takes a very long time to get to having you do any coding yourself, and much has almost certainly changed in the last 6 years in regards to developing for iOS.

    not really hands on is it, I like to be able to do things when I'm learning so that it sticks. he's just glossing over features using pre-written code

    xcode help file sucks. leaves out too much. this course is very good at showing how to use the xcode IDE and handle many of the constructs of objective-c. still have a lot to learn, but this was very helpful.
