This is one of the few tutorial videos that get straight to the point and easy to understand. It gives you the meat and potatoes of the subject matter while simplifying the process into meaningful digestive chunks. Learning Zbrush from Cody Scites makes it possible for me to navigate this program confidently. Of course there will be speed bumps, unclear info, but his method allows you to be inquisitive and seek more knowledge in your own way if need be. Thank you so much! You are an amazing teacher.

For a beginners course, the pace seems too rushed and lacking the finer details for those unfamiliar with the software. Better sign posting of where function buttons/tools would be helpful. Also detailing the various ways to select certain tools/functions would be helpful (like keyboard shortcuts, selections from the tool bar or docked tools or even the space-bar selection functions). These are options I have had to research away from the tutorial, which now I realise could of been integrated into the course. Continuing the course from the half-time review stage, I am disappointed at the overall quality of this course. I have done another beginners course in Zbrush and can say it was a lot more informative. Overall dialogue to the students is far too flippant and almost evasive to the core functions of the software. There are a few sections in the course that seem unfinished or skipped (instances of blank screens for over 2 minutes, odd edited skips in video, 3+mins of time-lapse footage with no commentary or insight into why certain functions are used, etc).

For a beginner the speed of this course is to high. No timelapse and no background music, please. More in-depth explanations in "Section 3", please.
