We'll start in Photoshop where we will learn how to use the Pen tool to separate the photograph and create a layer mask. Then we will paint the skater out using the Clone Stamp Tool and the Patch tool.
We'll bring these layers into After Effects and convert them to 3D layers and animate them using a camera.
Finally, we will animate some text using the text tool and 3D layers.
In addition, throughout the course I will be supplying my working projects so that you can use them as a downloadable resource.

I never used AE so wanted things better explained like going to beginning and end of composition quickly since there is no home or end key that i could find. And for some reason when I went to add a scale change it showed all teh other transform layers that i wasn't utlizing which made the entire timeline thick and harder to navigate, but the way she did it was simple and only added 1 adjustment transform layer under. anyway simple but annoying things like that would have been helpful to make sure everyone is catching up.

The topic and contents were good; nothing too complex for showing what is needed for doing the parallax effect. I found myself struggling with the teacher`s inconsistency of information and spoken tutoring - i had to turn off the way of thinking i have had about tutorials and their usual pipelines in order to follow through this one. A tough one but i made it :) Still a good one.

The tutor is good on the particular topic, but could better. A new student can not understand because so many things skipped. Those how familiar with AE for a long time that student can understand.
