Learn Advanced C# Scripting in Unity 5 for Games

Learn advanced and powerful C# scripting techniques for building professional-grade games in Unity

Learn how to create believable game worlds and behaviours by scripting gameplay in C#. In this comprehensive 3dmotive course targeted at intermediate users, instructor Alan Thorn demonstrates advanced C# scripting techniques and their underlying concepts for solving real-world development problems. Understand core mathematical ideas, like Vectors and Quaternions, for making objects move, rotate and change predictably. See how to apply C# for implementing line of sight functionality, artificial intelligence, collision detection and lots more. In addition, see how to work with large amounts of data, how to understand coordinate systems and spatial problems, and how to customize the Unity editor to work the way you need it to. By the end of this course you’ll have established a highly valuable foundation for coding confidently with C# to develop sophisticated games that are impressive - and marketable.

This course has gives some insight still. Some of the code is dated. But, some is still good. Anyway, its intermediate so you should be more familiar. And, you can always download Unity 5 if you want, but Unity updates most stuff.

Many good and whats most important practical techniques, videos are short and concise but valuable, personally I watched it at 2x speed so it's quite a bit of knowledge in short amount of time. Although it is for more intermediate developers, as author sometimes doesn't explain every little part in detail, I have already known most of the math, smoothing properties but wanted to refresh the Unity way of implementing those. Overall its very valuable, concise and concrete course, would love to see more and even more advanced topics and mechanics taken on. Best wishes for Author.

The course is good, but only recommended if you are a novice at Unity and scripting. I feel it could hold more. The best part was the Inventory creation.
