This is without a doubt one of the best courses on Swift available. Definitely the best one related to Chat applications. The instructor goes into detail explaining every line of code he writes and is very knowledgeable about not only Swift but also Firebase and working on the Apple Developer website.

Pros: You will get to know all the tricks the instructor has acquired over the years to make a full-featured messaging app. Without this, you could be spending multiple times as much as the length of this video. Relatively quick responses to questions from the instructor were plus. Cons: You have to be very much determined to complete the course. Instructions are often hard to follow as the instructions often have zero or unclear explanations and inconsistencies. The instructor often appears so unprepared and tired you start feeling sorry for everything and everybody about this course including yourself. Q&A is not going to help as it is very deserted and people don't seem to get the right answers and suggestions from the instructor. Also, it's called "school," but you're very much on your own. It's basically a live coding from the beginning to the end. There is no quizzes, tasks, discussions, encouragement that you traditionally expect from an institution called "school."
