In this course you will learn how to use the CodeIgniter framework from scratch. CodeIgniter is a framework Model-View-Controller (MVC) which is very powerful. You will be able to create almost everything that you have your mind set on in terms of development.

Goes straight into deep PHP coding rather than using simple real world examples, so the 'Beginner to Expert' title is soooo wrong!! Don't get this course if you are a beginner its the equivalent of clickbait!!!

Well, I've been after mastering the MVC/oops model using PHP for longer than I can say with a straight face! I'm a self-taught wanna-be web developer who was just saved by this class from more future headaches when writing/rewriting url's. Ive been using URI parameters eg; action= to call controller functions and doing it with a separate controller every time instead of using one controller with several methods and executing a method simply by pointing to it in the URL eg; website.com/home/viewHome. I was doing this.. website.com/home/?action=viewHome then to get that function I had to parse_url/parse_str, pull it down, store it in a variable then execute it! Thats what I get for not having the patience to sit still and learn from those who know! ;)
