Very poorly prepared, no substance. There is no big data at all during the whole course, unless 5 rows of data can be called a big data. You import table, you export table. No analysis at all. It is more like video user manual than learning experience. There is over 15 quiz lessons - they are silly, bad worded and no effort has been put at all into any of these. Questions for lecturer are unanswered for 2 years, even simple ones like: what is default user and password for hue browser? Some steps are skipped and you have to figure out how she got there. After finishing this I know as much about big data analytics, as I knew before taking this course. Only thing I learnt is a bit of background knowledge about why we need big data analysis programs and technical side of using scoop and hive. Defo not recommended.
