In this class, you will learn about the origins and types of Himalayan singing bowls. Unfortunately, this course was not what I expected. I signed up hoping to learn the basic technique for playing Tibetan singing bowls, but the content felt very limited and surface-level. It's extremely short, and much of the material simply points you to the instructor’s external website. Rather than being a complete introduction, it feels more like a teaser or marketing funnel for his paid course on bellsofbliss.com. While I understand the desire to promote one’s own products, it was disappointing to feel like this course was more about selling bowls and upselling than genuinely teaching. I would recommend this only if you're curious about the instructor's style, but not if you're looking for practical learning or hands-on instruction.

So much knowledge about bowls wow! I love that I now have resources to go to! Have to share... when I bought my first Himalayan bowl I met Mitch Nur at that location, and he asked me to play my bowl for him, we connected instantly and he introduced me to two other bowls in his personal collection that he wanted my bowl to play with LOL, they were so wonderful together he said he would let them go home with me, I was like what? So not only did I leave with an amazing new 3 bowl set, but I also took a make your own Porotiti class and received a sound bath session from him. Now I have met you, just amazing _/\_ Nmaste

First, I love that this course is free. It makes me feel that the instructor Guy, is more about spreading knowledge and love, rather than making money, which I love. I have just purchased my first Udemy course in singing bowls and as part of the course, I had to purchase a set of 7 singing bowls. I wish I had seen this free course before I bought the bowls, as there is so much knowledge in this course that would have helped me. They have not arrived yet, but I am excited to see and hear them! I am also excited to learn more from this course as I have only completed part 8 so far! Tara M
