A course for beginners. A bit of theory at the very beginning, which is very positive. As for the practical part, it could be more technical and enriched with a greater number of valuable examples. For someone who has not had contact with painting in Photoshop, a nice and quick course.

Good for a true beginner only. If you already know a few things and can draw/paint no point buying it.

Great course, very complete. Will teach you several styles of art used to make various game assets (hand painted, isometric, etc) - techniques learned are useful, practical, and easy to implement. I am awful at art but am getting better, much in part to this course. I think this course will be especially helpful if you want to learn to create art to sell or you want to make games and want creative control over your own assets. Instruction is clear and well paced - I will note that this was done on a slightly older version of photoshop and some settings have changed since then (shape anchor is off by default now instead of on, for example). Also the instructors brush selection and brush panel does not match the current CC version of PS but this is minor.
