This course gives the basics of using Illustrator which is helpful because it gets straight to the point. However, the course is very fast and is rushed through to its entirety so expect to stop and replay several times especially with setting up the board and getting the layers together as some areas are glossed.

I was already familiar with most of the Adobe Illustrator tutorials, but I was really interested in how to do Merch by Amazon. It seems there was only one video on that specific topic, and all of the Adobe tutorials were pretty basic. I don't think it was worth the whole amount I paid, but it was helpful for a few things. Overall, it was a good course.

Michael is very engaging and covers topics that were very enlightening. He focused on the exact things that I wanted to learn more about like how to place an image, creating text shadows, how to create a background layer so that the white text stands out in contrast. I thought this course was very valuable and worthwhile!

Sometimes Michael goes a little too fast; or doesn't speak every thing he does. I've had to rewind back a few seconds so I can visually catch what he's doing. I've also had to watch other YT videos to figure out what he is doing. I still have questions on what to do after taking this course! A little frustrating.
