Course Overview

CPC Exam Preparation For Medical Coding Certification

A complete chapter-wise sample question with an explanation of the answer to pass the certified professional coder exam.

This course helps to prepare the student to take the AAPC's CPC exam and learn many different strategies to choose the correct option. The CPC exam is a test of medical coding proficiency consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions that assess 17 areas of knowledge. Whether you take the exam online or in person, you must complete the CPC exam within 4 hours and answer 70% of the questions correctly to pass. Most questions present a coding scenario to test the proper application of CPT® procedure codes, HCPCS Level II supply codes, and ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes-all of which medical providers use to submit claims to payers. The CPC examination consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and tests your knowledge of a broad range of coding-related topics.

I wanted to share that your course would be more helpful if you could update the content from the 2023 books to the current 2025 versions, as many codes and examples have changed. Also, including more visual explanations with pictures or demonstrations in your videos, rather than just reading the text, would greatly improve understanding. Thank you for considering these suggestions to make the course even better.

You can not understand the first two slides. The audio improves going forward. I ill say I did not like it at first but by the end of the first section I changed my mind. It is not perfect but she is thorough and divides the info well.
