In three words: miraculous, meaningful and worthwhile. I will admit that I had completely different expectations from the course, yet this format with short films, discussions and home assignments assured me that it is an even more efficient method for a course to be taught online. I won't say anything new: if you want to be as excited about this course as me, you have to be involved in discussions, you have to do home assignments, moreover, you have to read additional articles regarding the specific topic. The structure of the lessons is well thought-out; a workbook is included to examine oneself through different activities to enhance mental well-being. Now I feel much more knowledgeable about the topic, I can also understand myself better. Mr. Sivewright (the instructor and author of the course) is willing to help if you have any questions, furthermore, he himself also engages in discussions, sometimes provokes to think of the topic from a different angle, to look for more hidden signs in the video. However, it is a pity that I was the only student who engaged in discussions (sometimes the overall silence was quite depressing), that was the only part which didn’t succeed as planned. Thank you for this course and possibility to broaden my horizon.
