It is not a very complex in-depth course but it does a good job at explaining what flat design is, how to make icons and build up a page from scratch. It helps you understand composition, colours, and shapes on a website. I actually used to be a graphic designer, years ago, but have never made a minimalistic page like these two examples in the course. So for me this is a nice, refreshing course to help me design trendy pages. The teacher walks you through the designs while actually building up a page.

I enjoyed the lectures so far, although one needs to know the basics of photoshop and illustrator to be able to follow the instructions. I am happy I took the course. It covers basics of web and icon design with both photoshop and illustrator. The basic concepts of flat design are also well covered.
