I liked the course. It's short, and that made me hesitate, especially since it's an old course and the platform doesn't even look the same, but I would still take it again because it teaches very well. I liked the way it covered the concepts, and if anyone is wondering whether to buy it or not, it's a very good option in my opinion.

Generally speaking, the course was good. It did help me in the first orientation in QuantConnect (QC). The one star is subtracted for two reasons: A) The course is old and hasn't been updated in a while so the QC website looks very different today then it did back in 2018 (last update as of 2nd Jul 2024); B) This course was quite short. I would prefer a longer one that goes in much more depth regarding the technical aspects, e.g. monitoring order execution (almost not covered at all), the "under the hood" of how QC executes the code, etc.

This course advanced my deployment of live trading on the Quanctconnect platform. Although I would have preferred this course in python, one reason why I think there are fewer users, I think a new door was opened using C#. I don't think this course is for someone with no programming background. List, dictionaries, and class objects are all subjects that require additional references. I do like that we did not spend a 25% of the course going over these basics, which would be outside of the course objectives. Ultimately I think the course needs more engagement. At this time, there were only 20 questions asked by the community. The lecturer did not answer some questions in the answer section. Ultimately I have learned a few things in other lectures by viewing student questions or comments. Overall I am very appreciative of this course. There isn't much content about Quantconnect on the internet, with most content being developed for Quantopian. I chose Quantconnect because of crypto brokerage connections, live paper trading, and it is the most professional platform available as a private Quant.

I was interested in ForEx instead of Crypto but this course was a great intro to QuantConnect and how to code/deploy algos. It was entertaining too!
