Course Information
Course Overview
Gain complete proficiency in mongoDB and NoSql with perfect expertise and knowledge.
MongoDB is a scalable and high-performance open source database designed to handle document-oriented storage. Mongodb is better than relational databases due to scalability and storage related issues. This course on MongoDB drives from complete basics and moves upwards exploring inner details and finally ends up explaining advanced level concepts of this NoSQL database. Along with tutorial lectures, this course also includes separate pdf files which can also be referred by the students. Hands on practicals form an integral part of this MongoDB course. The course covers great details about:
1.NoSql, JSON and BSON
2. Introduction to MongoDB
3. CRUD Operations in MongoDB
4. Data Modelling in MongoDB
5. Data types in MongoDB
6.Embedding in MongoDB
7.DBRefs and Manual Reference in MongoDB

This course is for developers only. Architect and others would be able to just get the keywords but there is a lot of scope to add thought challenging information for MongoDB in each topic.

The content is good. The accent of the teacher is very strong and sometimes make hard to understand his english. I don't have problems to understand english courses. But this point could be improved to make the course better. Another thing could be improved is to use zoom in to show command line. More suggestions: - Section 4 - Lecture 33 - Could use more illustrations or Samples to help you to explain what you are trying to say. - Use of a IDE (VS Code for example) could make easier to write and understand queries - Show more operators ande practice examples to explain before get into command line. - Use of a better sample database do show more examples with operators and other queries. - Explain more with samples. Not with a static Slide only. For example, in section "References - in Data Model Design" - Could have code examples during explanation. - Section 5 - Lecture 50 - Could have practice examples showing JSON visual to explain the references. So, I just think the course can be so much better with a fell changes.

I am new to the NoSQL MongoDB environment, but have been a DBA for a number of years, working mostly with Relational databases. I would be interested in how the indexing works, how indexes are 'rebuilt'. Also many of our processes will need to be completed either through applications or in batch mode. I would like to have seen more of those types of situations.
