Pros: I liked how the course was broken into different levels. This was very helpful to navigate. As far as I can tell, everything you will need to know to at least get started with YouTube is covered in this course. Cons: I found the instructor very difficult to listen to. He repeats himself a lot by saying the same thing in a different way multiple times. I also felt like some of the minor topics had too many details and and some of the major ones, I needed more info. If this happened, I would just pause the course and go to Youtube and search that same topic and watch those videos for 30 minutes. In other words, you might need to supplement this course with additional educational videos.

Nick's course for YouTube as a whole is a great way to get started and take action if your goal is to be a creator on YouTube. While it highlights some of the things you will inevitably know by just being a regular YouTube user, it goes further into lectures that you will most likely not know about how YouTube, viewers, and the innards of the whole platform work. There's even a section on things like YouTube Live and other parts that might only cater to people who already have a well-established channel, but it catered most of the course for people who are just starting out. Still, whether you're watching this to be a better content creator or you're just reading up on how to get started. It's a great place to dip your toes in. Nick can be redundant sometimes and in some lectures it feels like he's saying the same thing over and over, but overall I think that's a way to emphasize how important is to get that specific knowledge across. Aside from that, this is a pretty wonderful guide to YouTube.

Definitely a complete and easy to follow guide for a total beginner like me. I like how the chapters are categorized and how you cover almost everything I need to know. However a few chapters feels too long and repetitive, and I think it will better if you use intermittently between powerpoint presentation with talking head. Because it can become a bit boring just looking at text in some of your chapters.
