Kenpo Karate Basics II
What is Kenpo?
The term “Kenpo” or “Kempo” derives
from the Chinese term for “law of the fist” known as Chuan Fa or Quan fa which
is a form of Chinese style boxing dating back hundred if not thousands of
years, this form of fighting was believed to be used in combat by anyone from
soldiers to farmers of that time period and later taught for self-protection
and body conditioning.
Kenpo Karate Basics II is the
second volume in the Kenpo Karate Basics self-defense series. This course will
introduce additional hand strikes, more advanced kicks and techniques adding to
the skills you learned in Kenpo Karate Basics Level 1. In this course you will
learn some open hand strikes, inside-out/ outside-in kicks, how to use shuffle
and crossover kicks and four additional attack defense techniques. The information found here
will add to your library and help to improve your martial arts skills.
Kenpo Karate Basics II is recommended for people of any age and
skill level who want to start their training from the beginning and learn the
proper foundations and fundamentals of the art. This course was created as an introductory
level, it contains an easy to follow format which can be practiced alone or
with a partner. These courses will increasing in the degree of difficulty as
you progress.
Our methods and solutions are
not the only available ones but are simplified for instructional purposes.
Today more and more people are realizing the importance of having some basic self-defense skills in a world that seems to be getting less tolerant and more violent. There are no absolutes when it comes to dynamic situations like combat and we
realize and understand that there are alternative methods and techniques which
can be used in similar situations. Keep in mind that these techniques should only be used as a guide to understanding situations and the potential
solutions for these types of attacks.

acquire but the mastery and control you have over their applications.
