This is a really great course. The course author/facilitator presents detailed and practical coverage of Phaser 3 coding in small well-structured chunks which make the complex topics of game programming easy to learn and understand. He also provides good reference materials that allow a learner like myself to find information when needed. Thank you for an excellent course.

Lets start with good things: - Teaches a lot of basics as promised - Introduces nice resources - Hands on game project in addition to intro to basics was of course a good thing Various factors that dropped the rating: - Leaves out many basics (camera, actual collision physics, actually showing how to make game objects to interact with the map you have created). - Doesn't explain many basic things, theory part is quite weak. Many times I had to figure out how certain things really work all by myself. Thank god Visual Studio Code has tooltips for different methods. See Academind and Zero to Master Academy course how to combine theory to practice. - Teaches some bad practices like repeating the code way too much. I managed to shorten the code in many areas by a lot. - It was mentioned in the last video that the instructor hopes to add couple more games to the course portfolio. These additions would be much needed and could even raise the ranking close to 5/5. In my honest opinion, you haven't really learned even basics if you don't have a demo in a rpg game and in a platformer. Tic Tac Toe was too simple to even cover the basics of Phaser3. I hope the instructor steps up his game and adds those much needed additional games to this course. Looking at other Phaser3 courses out there, this is something that would make this course the most complete. - Didn't get any answers to my questions I posted.
