Course Overview
Practical Implementation Of DMVPN between Remote Sites
In this course the viewer will learn step by step Implementation of DMVPN using multiple phases - DMVPN Phase I to III, in this lecture the author will demonstrate the implementation of DMVPN and configuration of DMVPN required for successful connectivity between remote sites. The process of achieving DMVPN using Phase I,II - static and Dynamic tunnels , Phase III using Dynamic Tunnel with IGP routing protocol is included. The author will demonstrate all the phases of DMVPN with clear step by step configuration for maximum experience to our viewer.
The author will design the Topology and complete the configuration step by step.
The students will learn how to configure the routers and prepare the interfaces for VPN connectivity. The author will demonstrate that in the three labs session provided in this course.
The students will learn about the DMVPN Architecture.
The students will learn how to design and configure DMVPN Phase I, DMVPN PHASE II and finally DMVPN Phase III.
The students will learn about the key features.

The labs were ok but it lacked more explanation for the commands in order to get a deeper concept on DMVPNs.

Another excellent course from Habib. it gives you step-by step detailed instructions on setting up dynamic and static DMVPN connection between 4 remote sites. Labs will provide you with confidence in using DMVPN topology. Strongly recommended to anybody who wants to know how to deal with real life situations and be able to configure dynamic multipoint VPN connection.

I was able to make every lab work perfectly on GNS3 as Habib did with some manipulation. I would like a better understanding of why DMVPN must be configured in Phases, especially since some configurations are removed when you go from one Phase to the next. Habib sent Pings from site-to-site to show reachability but I don't recall if he mentioned that it was necessary to send a Ping in order to generate traffic so that the peer would be displayed utilizing the DMVPN "show" commands. I stumbled over that by accident.
