It’s a nice course but it is outdated. I would appreciate a similar or continuation with up to date information and version.

I learned a lot, and look forward to an intermediate and advanced course from you. I want you to succeed, so I suggest the following would make it perfect: The chapter on selecting groups is not clear. I have watched it four times now and still cannot get it. I get all the rest. The last part, constructing the monster from scratch didn't have much new, but was a review of what we already learned. We can always rewatch the other videos for review. Sometimes, especially in the second half of the course, I couldn't catch where you went to find the tool you used. Repetition helps us learn instead of, "You've already learned that, so I'll skip it." It seems like you said, "right?" and "ok?" after almost every sentence. Extraneous noises can be dropped with practice, or edit them out in the video editor. Thanks for a great course.

I learned so much from this course! The beginning of the course offers a lot of detail about Affinity Designer basics which is great. But what's special about this course is that after the basics are in place things really take off as the lectures move into the creation of actual projects. It's a lot of fun, and for me it took quite some time to work through the course because I was so inspired by the projects that I would put it aside for a bit to work on my own ideas. Watching the lectures is like looking over the instructor's shoulder as he works, and I picked up all kinds of handy tips, not only about Affinity Designer, but about computer graphic design in general. Ronnie McBride is also very quick to answer questions, and the classroom is very interactive. Definitely one of the better courses I have taken here at Udemy!

Great information in an easy to understand format. Little bit disorganized here and there but over all this course gives you everything you need to get started and then some. I recommend it and look forward to more classes from Ronnie!
