Brief and straightforward introduction to start creating your first UI Style! I really enjoyed the challenges and the structure of the course is ideal to test your skills and start creating pieces for your portfolio The tricks and the workflow are really interesting! I knew some of the tools from Photoshop but wouldn't have guessed they work so well for UI

I prefer vector graphics and I was expecting her to use layer styles but she does almost everything with brushes. Also only UI elements are done, some of the graphics in the introduction like chest and coins are not done. Learned some stuff and tricks but it was below my expectations.

The techniques used throughout the course are a bit outdated, since you can achieve same or even better results much faster with gradient fills and drop/inner shadows. However, I still feel like I've learned a lot, and it was a great opportunity to practice Photoshop drawing. Now I'm much more confident about creating my own UI designs. Thank you so much for these lessons!

The course was really fun and enhanced my photoshop skills. However, the videos could use better editing, the looping background music (that breaks and then continues) is getting really annoying as the course goes on and makes it hard to follow along. Sometimes the recorded/automatic narration does not match exactly the video, which forces me to go back in the timeline. On the last video, instead of almost a minute of black screen, it could be nice to overview the techniques that were taught throughout the course. All that being said, the course was fun and worth my time and the cost of $16.
