I wanted to spruce up my skills in Illustrator and thought the best place to start would be with logo design, so Dave's course was immediately on my radar. Fortunately, it provided everything I was looking for and more. No time is wasted as we're dropped straight into Illustrator. We start simply enough by typing some text, and from there, all the drop downs, settings and concepts are clearly navigated through and explained - gradients, kerning, strokes; ideas that I was only either vaguely familiar with (outside of Illustrator) or had never heard of. Step-by-step, we're taken through the evolution of a logo with depth and vibrancy, introducing tools like the pathfinder and the pen tool in ensuring our logo is as chiseled as it can be. It's a nice short course but still full of clear technical knowledge and experienced 'tricks of the trade' - great for taking forward into future projects. Thanks David!
