My goal with this course was to learn pretty much what was taught, the basics on adding and editing an object in Blender. The instructor showed me simple things that can be done and the videos were not overly long, which gave me ample time to go back and take notes. For a basic course in how Blender works I think the instructor did a great job. In the future it might be helpful to go over the user interface just to show students where things are and in general what they do.

This is a great course! Mr. John Bura did a great job explaining all the basic features of Blender. I find it very useful and I think this is a good starting point for everybody that wants to learn Blender. I'm giving a 3.5 stars rate because there aren't subtitles included on the videos. Neither are button/hotkeys captions on the screen, so for people with visual problems like me or that aren't english native speakers, It's kinda hard to follow the instructions. I needed to rewind a lot and focus my sight to be able to check what command controls he used on each exercise. If Mr. JOhn Bura can fix that it will be a total 5 stars course.

The first half of the course is informative. In the second half, the instructor repeats him self in the different videos. Half of the lessons in section 3 repeat them selves and do not really teach any thing new. If there are six shapes that you can select from the menu it should be explained in one video - maximum two - Not six. As the information presented includes many key strokes that are not seen while the presenter talks. It is not clear what to do. In future videos I recommend to present the actual key strokes in text on the screen. The course is for beginners and is stated as such, but it is to basic and does not cover enough material.

At the beginning, the course was very good and useful, but around the middle, the lessons become repetitive and they contribute quite little to your knowledge of Blender. I felt that the course ignores important subjects for being a good introduction to this software. I wondering if a video tutorial in You Tube is a better option than pay for so few information.
