I expected more details on how to assess project scale and requirements, as well as time management. A simple statement such as "create a vertical slice of the game", along with using placeholders, which is considered common practice, wasn't helpful at all. So, this is mostly an unfinished tutorial, since many steps for creating the final levels are missing, and even leave the code with a bug.

Very keen to look at the nuts and bolts for planning and conducting a game jam. This is excellent so far.

It's really nice foundation course. If someone is starting from the scratch, this is the course I would recommend. It covers all the basics you need for prototyping. The key points mentioned in coding will help anyone in the long run.

A pretty good course with some good information, just potentially not titled correctly. The course feels more like a paint by numbers to make a unique racing game with some game jam tips thrown in. Still a lot of value here and I understand the instructors aim is to give re-usable code to enable prototyping, but something just feels incomplete for what the course is advertised for.
