It served as an introduction to using gnuradio with some fairly introductory projects. It serves the purpose to teach you a little bit, enough to get you off the ground. Nearly everything is introductory level. Additionally, parameters for gnucontrol blocks given mostly without the reasons behind why they need to be particular values. Just adding that level of detail would improve the course quite a bit and would have gotten a better rating.
