It is not updated as per the recent version which is only makes the learning even more difficult . Despite the fact the course is comprehensive , but there is no point in learning from it now. The tutor has mentioned in the preview that it is 2.8 version . But 4.2 is the latest version and i thought it would be updated for now

Its very easy to understand when following along building the armature but the lessons where he shows you how everything works is hard to follow, maybe its just me but you gotta really focus and pay attention. either way all the information you need on rigging is here and in depth. just pay attention, dont day dream!! :(

Whats in here is in depth so i cant rate this as i wish. Its not considered for beginners. Rigging is a complicated subject. I had a lot of frustrating moments during the course.Moments where I left everything. Due to the confusing approach, it is very easy to lose track of things. Those who force themselves to go through everything will develop a solid understanding of rigging in blender and beyond. For my part i love the quarternion and gimbal rotation part. With a little research, I applied everything in Blender 2.9. The contraints part i loos track watched the parts over and over again until i get it somehow. When you pause for a couple of days you will loose track of it. Because of the confusing learning style, I would only give 3 stars, but I think you should honor the effort and information here that the tutor put into it. I watched a couple other rigging courses nothing comes near to it. Englisch What I need for myself would be a course like a reference work with short but understandably explained videos so that you can still keep the context. Cant blame the tutor if you are willing to force you and fight through you will get most out of it. But the best approach to handle this course is to make notice on paper or in extra document to cut it down when you want to addapt this rigging. Wish you guys luch with this.

Definitely the next logical step after doing the modelling course. I would have liked to have seen a link to it when buying the original course, and/or a reference to it at the end of the modelling course. Very thorough on the theory and trying to explain whats going on behind the scenes. At times there is too much though, a *lot* to slog through, without much practical application to show the theory in a true example of where these situations are used. I ended up skipping through most of them in the end, too painful to watch and go through. I was keen for these lessons until I got to the slog in the middle (Sections 5 and 6). Hard to stay awake... All in all very good and thorough
