Very basic course and straight to the point course. It really helps you to start with rigging and animating in Maya, but it does not really go deep in any subject. The tutor is great, explaining every step and why you do it this way. Great course to start in this topic and create your first animated model.

Does what the course title says - using the HIK rigging system, so rigging is fast and fairly easy, and mocap and timeline and some basic animation techniques are also covered. Good course if you want to skim the surface of these topics in Maya, but there's no real depth to any of the topics, and Maya's fantastic custom rigging potential isn't explored. If you want an overview, this course is OK, but there are better rigging courses, and better animation courses.
