Prepare for ServiceNow ITSM exam with practice tests

Delta exams are required for holders of mainline ServiceNow certifications who did not take the certification exam for the latest release (i.e., Xanadu).

Delta exam period for Xanadu:
January 15, 2025 – April 30, 2025

Exam details:

• Usually consists of 20 or fewer questions

• Open book, non-proctored, and timed (1–1.5 hours)

• Focuses on ServiceNow updates related to the Xanadu release

Annual maintenance fee:

• A $200 fee ($100 for ServiceNow Partner organizations) is due during the delta exam period

• Applies to mainline certification holders who have held their certification for 1 year or longer

• Only applicable if you have had at least one mainline ServiceNow certification for 1 year or longer by the start of the maintenance fee period

Delta exam requirements:

• You must take the delta exam if you did not take the certification exam for the Xanadu release

• To check your certification status, log in to Now Learning, select “My Certifications,” and if a certification is marked as “At Risk,” the delta exam must be completed before the end of the exam period

Attempts:

• You can take the delta exam up to 5 times

After April 30, 2025:

• If you do not pass the delta exam or do not pay the maintenance fee (if applicable), your certification will become inactive and you will be required to retake the original certification exam

• Delta exam content is based on the release notes for the Xanadu version of ServiceNow
