There are 90 questions in total in the course but about 10 of them are rather general questions that are perhaps relevant for CAD exam, but not really for PA. The rest is solid and since I have just passed my exam for Xanadu release, I can confirm that some of them (about 20-25) appeared in the real exam. It is also a good thing that the author tries to provide explanation for the answers. Here the pros stop, sadly, because the explanations are often more verbose than precise. And surprisingly too many questions have wrong answers with totally bogus explanations. I was able to identify about 10 questions where I am pretty sure they are wrong; then there are a few more where I have more than reasonable doubts. For a test that is specifically advertised as having "Clear Explanations and Accurate Answers", this is a big disappointment. I have a strong feeling that the answers and explanations have been AI-generated and the author did not bother to verify them, or possibly lacks the true expertise in PA to do so. Below are two examples of the bogus answers/explanations just to illustrate my point: *** "Select the statement which correctly returns the global target: - pa.getTargetGap([[Number of open incidents]], score_end) - pa.getTarget([[Number of open incidents]], score_end) - pa.getGlobalTarget($[[Number of open incidents]], score_end) - pa.Target([[Number of open incidents]], score_end)" Here, of course, the correct answer is the third one. The other methods do not exist under PAFormulaUtils API and also, they do not use "$" sign before the indicator which is a necessary condition to use a method on it. You can verify it here: https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/yokohama-now-intelligence/page/use/performance-analytics/PAFormulaUtil/concept/PAFormulaUtils.html. Yet, the author insists that the third answer is wrong because "the function likely doesn´t exist or isn´t named correctly based on official documentation". According the same, the correct answer is the last one because "this function directly retrieves the global target". To me, this seems as a hallucinated AI-generated answer that may sound convincing, but is simply untrue as should anyone with advanced knowledge of the topic be able to recognize. *** "What are the default Access Control options for a new Indicator? - Visible to Everyone. Visible by All Roles is True. - Visible to Just Me. Visible by All Roles is False, role required is pa_admin. - Visible to Just Me. Visible by All Roles is False. - Visible to Everyone. Visible by All Roles is False, role required is pa_admin." According to the author, the correct answer is the second one because "by default, the indicator is only visible to person who created it" and "only users with the pa_admin role can access and modify the indicator". Sadly, both of these statements are false and "Visible to Just Me" is not even a valid option in the indicator form. Correct answer is of course the first one which can be easily verified empirically by creating a new indicator and checking the default Access Control setting. Again, the author obviously did not bother to do that and instead went with the AI hallucination. As mentioned, these examples are just for illustration; there were about 10+ cases like that which would comprise more than 10 % of the materials. Given that another 10 % is not relevant to PA topics, you decide whether this course is a good investment...
