CREST CPSA - Practice Exams - 2026 NEW

Over 600 questions to help you pass CREST CPSA - 4 x mock exams and 1 x abbreviation practice and 1 x port practice

During my own preparation for the CREST CPSA, I found it surprisingly difficult to locate a truly comprehensive set of practice questions with clear explanations. I ended up purchasing five Udemy question sets, experimenting with various flashcard decks, and even using ChatGPT to generate challenging, CPSA-style questions focused on very specific areas of the CPSA key objectives.

As I studied, I collected and refined questions of varying difficulty — some broad, others more detailed — that I felt would genuinely help reinforce my learning (and, let’s be honest, my memory). All of these questions were then used to design my own exams so that I could refer to one main resource and aid my learning with additional reading elsewhere.

The CPSA is a broad but not overly deep exam, and finding that “sweet spot” of difficulty was often a balancing act. Because of this, the questions in this set range from straightforward fundamentals to those that may go a little deeper than strictly necessary. I originally kept these questions unpublished, using Udemy’s Preview feature as a personal self-testing tool whenever I wanted to check my knowledge, revisit forgotten topics, or simulate a quick mock exam.

You might notice the occasional repeated or reworded question. Whilst this wasn't intentional — this collection was created purely for my own revision, and I didn’t spend time removing duplicates. However, there should be no repetition within the four main mock exams. The abbreviation and port-practice exams do include some overlap with the mocks, but that was deliberate, as repetition helps reinforce key details. You will also find that each mock question set may have more questions about specific aspects of the syllabus. This was, again, due to my own structured approach to learning. For instance, Mock exam 4 might have some more DNS focused questions as I was adding to the question set whilst specifically revising this part of the syllabus.

It is also worth noting that I would say a good percentage of the real exam does test you on ports and abbreviations. I highly recommend using these specific tests multiple times.

As of October 2025, I believe these questions cover the majority of high-quality material found across existing Udemy CPSA resources — plus many additional ones I created myself. All were written before I sat the actual exam, and although I couldn’t predict how closely they’d match the real questions, they unquestionably helped me achieve a pass. There is definitely a degree of varying difficulty between each mock set so using them all together is the best way I would recommend to aid understanding.

One small difference from the official exam: these questions use four multiple-choice options rather than five. The real CPSA includes five, but I chose to keep four since the extra option in most cases adds little value — it’s usually just an obviously incorrect distractor.

Every question in these mock exams includes a short explanation to help you understand why the correct answer is right and guide your revision when you make mistakes.

With over 600 questions, this is currently the largest CPSA practice question set on Udemy.

Good luck — and I hope these help you as much as they helped me.

This is an Amazing course! I failed on my first attempt trying other courses online. Trying out this course, simply makes me realize the exam expectation and on my first attempt, I would say if I had spent so much time on this course, other that other courses, I will pass. It is worth every penny.

The best set of CPSA questions I've found so far. Abbrs&ports are very useful and matched with the ones that were on actual exam.

Completed the CPSA mock test for practice. It was helpful in identifying weak areas and improving my understanding of core security concepts.
