NEW 2026 Syllabus! Carefully prepared practice questions to help you ace your CIPS exam
Welcome to L6M1. This module is Strategic Ethical Leadership
The course is based on the new syllabus (blue book) and is relevant for all exam sessions for this module from 2026 to 2029.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for CIPS students sitting L4M1. It has a focus on practicing written exam technique and covers all Learning Outcomes of the syllabus. It's suitable for those who want to:
see examples of how to respond to exam questions
practice their writing skills
understand how to effectively structure an essay response
see how to blend theory and examples into their response to maximise marks awarded
There are no time limits to complete this course and you have lifetime access. It is therefore ideal for those who are self-studying or who are studying around other commitments. If you want to hone your skills and pass first time, this is for you.
What's in the course and how does it work?
CIPS Level 6 is where you start to take the knowledge you've learned at Levels 4 and 5 and apply it to scenarios and real life. The exam is composed of 4 essay questions (one from each Learning Outcome) and these questions can be taken from any part of the study guide.
These practice tests include 40 example questions CIPS could ask in the exam. The questions have been carefully designed to mimic the real exam and include a variety of 'command words' and a mixture of straight questions vs scenario questions. Each question comes with a full length written example response so you can see not only what content you should include in your response, but how you can structure it.
I also provide 'Tutor Notes' for each question, explaining alternative ways of approaching the question and references to the study guide and websites for further reading on the subject.
Kindly note that CIPS publish new, never-before-seen questions each exam session. These practice questions reflect the same topics, but they may not reflect the exact questions you will receive in your exam.
I offer a complementary Video Course for this module. In the Video Course I go through the syllabus in detail, explaining all key concepts and theories and providing examples of these in 'real life procurement'. The Video Course is also available to purchase on Udemy. The Practice Questions course is designed for those who are familiar with the syllabus, either through watching the Video Course or reading the Study Guide and wish to practice their exam writing technique.
What benefit will I gain from taking this course?
As well as access to practice questions and my advice, there is a Q&A function that students can use to discuss the exam (e.g. 'if I talked about X for this question, would that work?). You also have access to contact me directly with any questions you have about CIPS.
Students who take this course report excellent exam results, higher levels of confidence and being able to pass their exams with less hours of study. Please check out the reviews:
