Who is this course for?

This course is designed for CIPS students sitting L4M8. It has a focus on practicing written exam technique and covers all the content of the module in an easy to understand and accessible way. It's suitable for those who are self-studying or who are studying around other commitments as there are no time limits and you have lifetime access. If you want to hone your skills and pass first time, this is for you.

What's in the course and how does it work?

This course provides essay questions for you to practice. Topics cover all four Learning Outcomes of L4M8. The questions have been carefully designed to mimic the real exam and include a variety of 'command words' and a mixture of straight questions vs scenario questions.

For each question you're encouraged to write (or at least think about) how you would approach the question and I provide details of what the examiner will be looking for, what content to include in your response and how you can structure your essay to achieve maximum points. I also provide full blown example essays and links to additional reading and extra examples you can use in your essay, where appropriate.

Kindly note that CIPS publish new, never-before-seen questions each exam session. These practice questions reflect the same topics, but they may not be the exact questions you receive in your exam.

Key Facts about this Module

· L4M8 is a core module of CIPS Level 4 – Diploma in Procurement and Supply. This means you must pass this module in order to achieve your Diploma

· It is a constructed response exam (i.e. essay writing)

· The exam duration is 3 hours- you will be required to answer one question per learning outcome (4 in total).

· You will receive 12 credits for completing the exam

· CIPS recommend you spend 120 hours studying for this exam. But with these practice questions you will be able to reduce this greatly

· The content of the module includes: the application of the procurement cycle, the sourcing process, whole life asset management, and ethical and responsible sourcing
