Course Overview

Bambu Studio: Design Suitable for Manufacturing

Master 3D printing quality efficiency by learning advanced Bambu Studio settings, surface tuning, calibration techniques

Although this course is delivered through Bambu Studio, the concepts you’ll learn apply to many slicer software options. The logic behind slicers like PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, and Cura is fundamentally similar, making this course valuable for users of various platforms.

In addition to mastering slicer settings, you’ll also learn about designing for manufacturability, the importance of electronic components in design, and how to approach functional part modeling. Topics like press-fit design, tolerances, hole dimensions, and surface finish are all covered with practical context.

We’ll explore Bambu Studio parameters in detail, including:

  • Layer height, line width, and seam positioning

  • Quality vs. print time balance

  • Support structures and advanced support settings

  • Calibration workflows (Flow Dynamics and Flow Rate)

Most importantly, we offer WEEKLY ASSIGNMENTS through our dedicated Discord community!
Each assignment helps you practice what you’ve learned by applying it to real-world models. After submission, we review your work together and provide feedback, turning theory into hands-on experience. This weekly cycle reinforces your skills and helps build confidence.

Our Discord server is also a place to troubleshoot print issues, share your results, and learn from others in the community. We strongly encourage you to join us and grow together!

By the end of this course, you will:

  • Know how to match different models with suitable build plates

  • Design functional parts that require minimal supports

  • Confidently adjust slicer parameters for optimized results

  • Detect and fix common FDM issues before they affect your prints

Whether you're an engineer, product designer, or hobbyist, this course will give you the tools to take full control of your 3D printing process.

I was So excited when I payed for this training, then I realized that it was a very annoying highly compressed digital voice reading Bambulabs help documentation. This is the laziest tutorial I have seen in decades , I don't understand how Udemy gave the permission sell this scam. I want a refund

I really had high hopes to learn how to use my printer more efficiently. I purchased this course for that reason. However, it seems like the instructor, or an "A.I. Instructor" of this video just read from Bambu Lab Wiki. And the speech is very fast, and hard to keep up with. There were no real examples only wiki examples. No showing where setting are found within the Bambu Lab Studio, and the list goes on. VERY poorly put together, this should have been a free video since the wiki is free.
