Course Overview
Learn the fundamentals of Audio Engineering using VoiceQ Software
What is VoiceQ?
VoiceQ is a full suite of native and cloud applications used for media localization including; Automated Digital Replacement (ADR), Audio Description (AD), Lip Sync Dubbing, Closed Captioning (CC), and VoiceOver (VO).
VoiceQ applications improve accessibility, efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
The recommended VoiceQ application for Sound Engineers is VoiceQ Pro, a mac OS desktop application used in pre-production and production to prepare and run sessions.
It supports script preparation and cue creation (timing/spotting aligned to picture), session setup, and in-session operation to guide performers and capture take-level outcomes. VoiceQ Pro integrates with most popular Digital Audio Work stations. (DAWS)
Typical workflow stage: script prep and cueing through recording session execution and immediate delivery of session data
VoiceQ Pro delivers the following benefits;
Team Capability
Sets an industry baseline standard of technical skills required.
Improves recruitment by attracting higher quality recruits.
Accelerates implementation time for new staff.
Improves scalability.
Time saved per session
25% -66% savings in pre-record workflows.
~30% savings in recording workflows.
~82% decrease in script adaptation with AI workflow time versus a manual workflow.
Cost saving per session
~25% savings in pre-record and recording cost.
Project efficiency and error reduction
>20% improvement in turnaround time from script prep to recording/delivery.
Fewer missed cues and smoother navigation.
Improved in-session efficiency and operational resilience.
Project Quality
Ability to shift to scene-based recording enabling more natural performance.
Better cueing and talent performance.
