Mix Sexy Chords into YOUR Favorite Rock & Pop Songs + Effortlessly Play Jazz and Any Other Beautiful, Advanced Song
How would it feel like, to know that...
- You can EASILY play even the fanciest, most beautiful jazz songs (those that seemed completely out of your league not long ago) - and people will just be blown away by how special are the sounds that are coming out of YOUR guitar.
- You will never again find yourself looking at a professional player playing a fancy, beautiful-sounding chord, and not having a clue what kind of chord it is and how to play it yourself.
- You can take your favorite rock & pop songs, that are originally only played with simple chords, and start mixing fresh, beautiful-sounding chords into them (9 chords, 13 chords, 6/9, and plenty more), to create GORGEOUS cover versions out of them. Versions that no one has heard before - and you made up on the spot.
- You can jazz-up, funk-up, and beautify ANY song that you want.
- If you are writing songs, you now have a much more colorful "palette" to write your own songs with - using these chords.
- You finally UNDERSTAND advanced chords theory, and you will never need to shy out again out of conversations / lessons on advanced materials from fear that you cannot "keep up".
-

I love this course. Alon makes 'improving guitar skills' fun and stimulating. His choice of songs to learn is in good taste, too. I had broken my arm, so had to take time out, but with this method of learning and with a charismatic teacher like Alon, you get back on track! Thanks Alon!

Hi, Alon, I want to write you some critical observations and criticisms about the content of this course. I am a musician from Prague, Czech Republic, who has been playing the guitar for 47 years. At the beginning I want to emphasize that I am not an enemy of funky style or another genre, quite the opposite. I try to have in my repertoire the widest possible range of both songs and different musical styles. Recently, I have been trying to improve in jazz and swing, which I can and want to use in addition to these genres in other areas and styles of music. Your course is called "QUICKLY Become a Jazz Chords Master". As the name suggests, I expected this course - a brief explanation of the structure of jazz chords - progressions (for example I - V - II) and the use of jazz chords in them - how to express different nuances of harmonic transitions by jazz chords - context and continuity of chords - chord substitutions - how and where to use jazz chords - enrichment of harmony in compositions of other genres In the description of this course you write "Mix Sexy Chords into YOUR Favorite Rock & Pop Songs + Effortlessly Play Jazz and Any Other Beautiful, Advanced Song". "You will be able to breathe new life in your favorite rock & pop songs by substituting simple chords with fancy-sounding chords" In the detailed description of the course content, you use the same take-off phrases, such as "fun chords", "bring exciting new sounds out of your guitar", "able to play any jazz song", "to breathe new life in your favorite rock & pop songs by substituting simple chords with fancy-sounding chords ", etc. This course is not about learning jazz chords and their use. You demonstrate the indicated jazz techniques on compositions in which you do not respect their original performance and style at all. So there can be no question of the actual use of "theory" in practice. Instead of sticking to the declared course content, the course content revolves around describing how to play songs in a funky style. This is NOT a funky course about changing standards to this style!!! You violently convert wonderful jazz and swing traditionals into funky versions. As a result, they completely lose their spirit, they are curtailed by their feeling, what makes them standards and evergreens. Funky is rhythmically very monotonous, all songs changed in this way sound the same, according to the same template. It completely loses its atmosphere and emotions. It's very rhythmically limiting. The content of the course does not correspond to its name and description in "About this course". At first it all seemed OK. Then you started forcing funky versions. You mistaken genre "Jazz" for "Funky". For illustration Section 6: Song # 1: Stand By Me - Funky Version - 13 min Section 7: Song # 2: The Girl from Ipanema - Funky Version - 4 min Section 8: Song # 3: Fly Me To The Moon - Funky Version - 30 min Section 9: Song # 4: Just The Two of Us - Funky Version - 9 min Section 10: Song # 5: Atumn Leaves - Funky Version - 27 min Section 11: Song # 6: You Are My Sunshine - Funky Version - 14 min 97 min of learning songs in different - funky style 114 min learning songs together, but only 17 min original no funky versions The whole course has 304 min. 1/3 of the whole course is about funky. And if we take into account the practical use of jazz chords and techniques in examples of specific songs, it's 85% funky. This is not right. If I had known before buying your course, I would never have bought it and looked for some more serious course that will fulfill what it promised. If you are such a fan of Funky, take a separate Funky course focused on translating songs of various genres into Funky and do not bring this topic into a course that is supposed to be about something else and in this course pay attention to what you promise - see the quote of your course description mentioned above With this in mind, I rate your rate at no more than 30% However, despite these comments, I keep my fingers crossed for you and I believe that your other courses will stick to the promised topic more.
