What This Course Covers (Stage 1 – Foundation)

This course provides the theoretical foundation of hypnosis and hypnotherapy, aligned with the National Occupational Standards (NOS).

You’ll learn how to:
• understand and explain hypnosis
• structure safe, ethical sessions
• build rapport and client responsibility
• deliver inductions, deepenings, and suggestions
• work calmly and professionally with clients

Upon completion, you receive a certificate confirming foundational theoretical training.

Pathway for New Practitioners

If you’re new to hypnotherapy, this course is Stage 1 only.

To progress toward MSC Method® Hypnotherapy Practitioner Certification, novice learners must complete independent applied learning after this course. This includes supervised client work and further training undertaken outside of Udemy.

Once sufficient experience has been gained, evidence of additional training and practice may be submitted for review.

Pathway for Established Practitioners (CPD)

If you’re already practising and insured, this course can be used as Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

To receive MSC Method® Hypnotherapy Practitioner Certification, established practitioners submit evidence of existing training, experience and insurance cover, alongside course completion.
