This was informative and helped in my understanding of lighting for stage plays. Some of this I knew already but It's good to look at it with the simulator. I would be interested in trying this myself to help in learning lighting designs.

It’s very basic and great for beginners. It’s very theater specific and some things that have been thought so far wouldn’t carry over to other theaters. Also some of the terminology used is slightly questionable.

Easy to understand and a thorough explanation of the basics. Having the making the show section was very helpful to put into practice what was taught. The course does cater towards beginners, will likely not be helpful for those who already have a good grasp of the basics or some experience already.
