Course Overview
Interactive Spanish Course. Equip yourself to minister to people IN SPANISH!
This course is perfect for people going on a mission trip to a Spanish-speaking country, or for those ministering to Spanish-speakers in other countries. I made this course to help people become more confident and less fearful when COMMUNICATING in Spanish. Many depend on a translator because they don’t think they can communicate. Or some won’t even attempt to speak or volunteer to serve due to fear. My goal for you in this course is to be able to hold a basic conversation in Spanish so that you can engage non-Christians, encourage believers, and share the good news of Jesus with people you meet. I also hope this course will inspire you and be the jump-start that you need to continue learning Spanish.
This intro level course has six lessons; each around 20-30 minutes long. Each video lesson contains interactive teaching, speaking practice and helpful cultural information. You will also get digital vocabulary lists for on the go practice (Quizlet), a one-page study reference guide, and a PDF workbook. The workbook contains vocabulary lists, written practice and answers, links to additional study, and links to worship songs and accompanying lyrics in Spanish and English.
My goals for you are:
1) Learn the basics of Spanish conversation. Getting to know people, describing things.
2) Acquire Christian-themed vocabulary and helpful cultural tips.
3) Increase your confidence speaking Spanish and understanding Spanish-speakers.
4) Become inspired to continue learning Spanish!
