Course Information
Course Overview
AI use cases in the field of project management.
In the dynamic realm of project management, embracing cutting-edge technology is essential for moving from reactive mode to strategic leader mode. This course teaches you how to leverage generative AI to automate administrative overhead so you can focus on the high-impact work only you can do. Using a five-step prompting framework, you’ll elicit high-quality, professional outputs from AI tools like Gemini and NotebookLM.
The curriculum begins with the blueprint of any successful project: the project charter. You will learn to use AI to draft formal documents that clearly define your goals and success criteria. You will also explore how AI can act as a strategic partner to discover hidden risks that could derail your timeline or budget. By providing deep context about your project, you can prompt AI to suggest mitigation plans that keep your team on track.
Efficient communication is a crucial ingredient for project success. You will practice using AI to organize stakeholder updates into structured tables and transform disorganized meeting notes into succinct follow-up emails with clear action items. For Agile teams, you’ll discover how AI can generate robust question banks to spark participation in sprint retrospectives.
Finally, the course introduces NotebookLM, a tool that allows you to create a personalized "team library". By grounding the AI in your project’s specific design plans and specs, you’ll have a source that answers team questions instantly, using your own documents as the source of truth. Throughout the course, you will apply a human-in-the-loop approach, ensuring that your uniquely human judgment remains the final word on every decision.
