Course Overview

  • The programme is designed to equip graduates with advanced knowledge and skills in clinical nutrition to provide quality health service and health promotion for patients and the general public. It is suitable for individuals planning to devote to the healthcare industry to broaden and deepen their knowledge in the clinical and public health nutrition, and practicing healthcare professionals, for example Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (Ens), Chinese Medicine Practitioners (CMPs), Physiotherapists, nutritionists, and those who have a relevant healthcare background to gain a more in-depth understanding on nutrition knowledge that can be applied in their workplace.
  • The clinical practicum component of the programme provides students with the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gain practical skills, and build a network within the healthcare industry. The clinical practicum component will include a mix of exposure in different healthcare settings guided by registered dietitians, including but not limited to public or private hospitals in Hong Kong or Mainland China, local district health centres (DHCs), chain clinics, community centres, online consultations and elderly homes, etc. As a result, our programme is likely to attract students who are committed to becoming highly skilled professionals ready to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
