Course Overview

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from scratch

Give you a solid background in AI with MACHINE LEARNING, Deep Learning ... step-by-step to algorithms & coding exercises

There are many AI & Machine Learning courses out there BUT most of them teach you how to develop AI applications in just three lines of code! You will NEVER want that if your objective is to get a solid background in AI from scratch.

Therefore, this course by Long Nguyen (PhD. AI, France) is aimed at providing you comprehensive fundamentals in AI, from zero to hero! After completing this course, you will understand and be able to implement the most important methodologies in AI such as MACHINE LEARNING, Deep Learning, Fuzzy Logic, and Evolutionary Computation.

Concretely, I will walk you step-by-step through the most fundamental AI algorithms and guide you in many coding assignments that focus on real-world problems such as: handwritten digits recognition, customer segmentation, house price prediction, customer churn prediction ...

As having been working very hard and seriously for this project, I really look forward to seeing you in the lectures!

The teaching style if simple but effective. I am impressed with how the professor has made complex logic into understanadable chunks and something that even a beginer like me could easily grasp. This is indeed one of my best course!

Course content, resources and presentation were all excellent. I did have problems with the following though: 1. I didn't want to risk breaking my existing Python installation, so I couldn't use Jupiter notebook and had to adapt the notes resources manually. 2. The idx2numpy module wouldn't install as described. Got it in the end. 3. Problems with loading the lesson videos: they were often empty / zero length and had to be reloaded, sometimes changing browser from Chrome to Edge and vice versa. Also they sometimes froze and the browser had to be restarted. 4. Although I could do the maths and did a numpy course as well, I got stuck coding the linear and logistic regression (didn't even try neural nets) . I spent a lot of time on them, got demoralised and gave up. I think it might be better to have the fuzzy logic and evolutionary computation lessons before the really hard stuff! I think I will give them a go later. 5. Pronunciation. Hearing the way words like "linear", "phi", "fuzzy" were pronounced was quite hard on the ear... Otherwise I got a lot out of this course. Thanks!!
