Passed the exam in December of 2022 using this course - FIRST TRY!! This course gave the back bone of everything I needed to pass the Sec. + exam. When the time came to study up a day or two before the actual exam, I used all the practice quizzes/tests from the CompTIA Sec. + study book. Seems thoughtless or stupid to not use the book for actual studying, but I found I learn slightly better in a class environment and this course/videos allowed me that. I suppose they're doing their best with the requirements from CompTIA, but so much of this content and the way it's explained seems convoluted, unnecessary, and impractical.

The good things: Lessons are thorough and tie back explicitly to requirements for the exam. The bad things: Presenters can be difficult to understand due to accents and mispronounced words. "Ob-fu-scation" not "Obs-fu-cation" ...okay, I know it's kinda close but it makes me worry that the author doesn't really know the word he's saying... or is that how Floridian's say it?? I'm British, maybe this is another aluminum - aluminium like thing - it just obfuscates the meaning to me...

This was a lot of information to process. The course is well‑structured, up‑to‑date, and aligns closely with the current SY0‑701 exam objectives. The explanations are clear, and the instructors provides practical examples that make the concepts easier to understand.
