Our CompTIA Linux+ (XK0-006) exam prep course delivers the knowledge and skills needed to confidently operate, manage, and troubleshoot Linux systems in a professional IT environment. Whether you're supporting cloud infrastructure, securing enterprise networks, or managing server deployments, this course builds the foundation you need to become a competent Linux administrator. It aligns with real-world job roles, covering everything from system operations and scripting to security and automation. The course is built for hands-on learners who want more than memorization—it's about practical application and long-term career growth.
Full-Length Practice Exams Included
To ensure you're fully prepared for test day, this course includes six full-length practice exams that mirror the structure and complexity of the real Linux+ certification exam. These exams help you gauge your readiness and identify weak areas before taking the official test. Each practice exam is designed to feel like the real thing—right down to the timer—so there are no surprises when it counts.
Exam Structure and Duration
Each of the six included practice exams contains up to 90 questions and must be completed within 90 minutes. These questions come in both multiple-choice and performance-based formats, closely matching the official CompTIA Linux+ exam. Practicing under timed conditions helps improve pacing, accuracy, and confidence, especially when faced with performance-based tasks that simulate real-world troubleshooting.
Scoring and Feedback
After each practice exam, you’ll receive a comprehensive score report that breaks down your performance across each domain. You'll see exactly where you excel and where you need to focus your study. This domain-specific feedback helps you build a targeted study plan that eliminates knowledge gaps and reinforces your strengths—giving you the edge you need to pass the exam on your first try.
Exam Domains and Coverage
The course fully covers all domains included in the CompTIA Linux+ (XK0-006) certification exam. Each domain is weighted according to the official outline and designed to reflect real-world Linux administration responsibilities:
System Management (23%)

Additionally, this domain explores service management tools like systemd, time synchronization, and network configuration to ensure reliable system operation.
Security (18%)
Equips you with the skills to secure Linux environments using access controls, firewalls, SELinux/AppArmor, and encryption. This domain includes vulnerability scanning, patch management, and applying best practices to harden systems against threats.
Automation, Orchestration, and Scripting (17%)

Good theory, however could be a bit more practical by showing real life examples of commands used in the Linux command line so it can help learners visualize questions and the scenario.

So far seems decent, 6/10 (Too Easy). I took the previous version of Linux + (Much Harder than this) and that exam had a lot more terminal and command output questions. The CySA+ practice exams did a good job in adding terminal and output questions, I think the same needs to be done here. Some improvements have been made from the XK0-005 practice exams but a lot more PBQ type questions need to be added examining network and server specific commands.

Update: Dion Training has resolved the issues with the practice test Images are not loading. I have contacted Udemy and Dion Training and both of them are saying that it is working correctly. I have tried multiple browsers and the Udemy app and whenever there is a question asking "What does this command do" or "What will happen in this python script" there is no image that loads showing a command or script so you are unable to answer the question. I have sent them screenshots of the issue and neither of them have been able to resolve the issue.
