The goal of this course was to parse Json faster. It seems like a crazy amount of work just to get some basic Json information into an application. I actually did something similar with the basic Async task and it was a lot more simple. Other than that, instructor does not explain what he does, it seems like he just recorded something he writes for himself. Also, strnage mistakes like "sterization" or something like that, when it was Serialization.

It's perfect Coarse if you don't have a good experience using important external libraries which is used to build real applications.

This course is straight forward. It teaches you all the basic aspects of using serialized JSON library using GSON along side a quick Retrofit & Otto review. I recommend it for people who want to know the basic hands on. The instructor is very good and built this course very well. However. If you want to lean actual parsing this course is not for you as it uses GSON for serializing/deserializing. So basically in respect to JSON there isn't much here except learning to model your data class.
