Course Overview

Generative AI for HR Professionals

Prompt Engineering for HR: 1000+ AI Prompts to Elevate Every Function

In human resources, Generative AI (GenAI) is transforming how organizations attract, engage, develop, and retain talent. This comprehensive course, Generative AI for HR Professionals, is designed to empower HR practitioners with the knowledge and skills to leverage GenAI across the entire employee lifecycle—from talent acquisition to performance management and employee engagement. The course begins with a solid foundation in the basics of generative AI, contrasting its capabilities with traditional AI methods in HR contexts. It then delves into building a strong business case for integrating AI into HR operations, emphasizing practical applications that enhance efficiency, personalization, and strategic decision-making.

Learners will explore how AI-generated interview questions and resume-based question customization can enhance recruitment. Through tools like Google’s Interview Warm-Up and real-world case studies like Unilever's use of ChatGPT for talent sourcing, participants will see how GenAI can automate screening, scoring, and communication. The course highlights applications in onboarding, such as AI-generated welcome emails, virtual onboarding assistants, and IBM Watson’s role in new hire integration. It also covers how to craft personalized learning and development experiences using AI for content creation, microlearning, and adaptive learning paths, drawing on examples like Microsoft’s GPT-enabled learning tools.

Further, the course examines the potential of GenAI in performance management through automated feedback, 360-degree evaluations, and data-driven appraisal writing. Engagement strategies using AI-generated pulse surveys, attrition prediction, and sentiment analysis of feedback will be demonstrated with case studies like GE’s AI-powered performance development and Qualtrics integrations. Learners will also master how GenAI can support HR compliance, policy writing, inclusive language use, and global policy localization.

Finally, the course culminates in hands-on training in prompt engineering, including how to write effective prompts, role-specific templates, and techniques for optimizing AI outputs—backed by a ready-to-use 1000+ HR-focused prompts. This course is essential for forward-thinking HR professionals aiming to lead the AI-driven transformation of their function.
