Course Overview
Learn the Dutch Pronunciation the right way: with ease and fun!
Even though Dutch has the same amount of letters as English, we do make different sounds in our pronunciation. With the feared G, R and UI, people are often thrown off by all the 'hard' and 'tough' sounds when Dutchies speak. Even though we have to train ourselves to use the right area of our mouth; with my tips to focus on and easy and fun ways to remember all the sounds, you will learn how to speak and sound like a Dutchie in no time!
This course includes all the letters and sounds we have in our language, including an assessment to test yourself. You will go through and learn:
- The Dutch Alphabet
- How to say each letter and how it phonetically sounds
- Words with these letters and how they sound, including time for you to practice
- Other combinations we have with these letters like sounds derived from the Greek & French language
- The explaination and demonstration of dipthongs (vowel combinations) and how you can easily make and say them
- You build up a basic vocabulary
- You will have a worksheet with all the letters and sounds for you to keep and refer to!
- A workbook with a variety of texts,audio and tips to practice your Dutch
