Nowhere is mentioned such an important thing that Serbian language has 2 (!) alphabets and which is more important, that the Cyrilic alphabet is the dominant one! One can be very disappointed after discovering this “minor” fact. During the “Practice & Build” exercises, it is also very important to show the words we are supposed to fill in, but just pronouncing them doesn’t work. In lesson 27, at 03:11 she says that the correct answer for the verb 'biti' in the 3rd person singular is 'budu', and when she repeats at 03:13, she says 'bude', which is confusing (as 'budu' is the 3rd person plural form). I would also advise the lecturer to improve her English level because it is not sufficient. For example: “A child is laughing. It is happy.” - You don’t say “it” referring to a child, only to an animal or an inanimate thing. It's usually considered impersonal, outdated, or even disrespectful in modern usage, so this is not a good example. One more example: “deterdžent za sude” is not a “dish soap”, it’s a “dishwashing liquid”, “soap” and “liquid” are two different things. In lesson 35, “angry and worried” is translated with 1 word – “ljuti” – even if it is correct and 2 English words can be expressed with 1 Serbian, it needs explanation or better – give simpler examples for beginners, otherwise it is really confusing. All in all, this course is extremely raw, shallow and sketchy. It must be reworked and updated with explanations and better examples. Also, there are NO quizzes and NO tests! When you are given a “task” to translate phrases from Serbian to English and vice versa, you have to write them on a paper or type in Word and then do "karaoke" – listen to the lecturer reading the correct answers aloud, which is very old school and frankly speaking, a waste of time. Lesson 40, “verb practice” with a long list of sentences, “karaoke” and NO translations (except 1 verb in each). I’m happy I bought this course at a discount, because the way it is now, it’s NOT WORTH THE PRICE.
