Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) Exams

Pass PMP now

The Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI), is the world’s leading credential for project managers. It validates the ability to lead, direct, and manage projects effectively using global standards and best practices. The PMP exam is computer-based, consisting of 180 questions to be completed in 230 minutes, including multiple-choice, multiple-response, and scenario-based questions.

The exam content is divided into three domains: People (42%), focusing on leadership and team management; Process (50%), covering technical project management processes such as planning, executing, and monitoring; and Business Environment (8%), emphasizing alignment with organizational strategy and value delivery. Questions reflect Predictive (Waterfall), Agile, and Hybrid approaches to ensure practical, real-world application.

1. Multiple Choice

  • One question with four answer options, only one correct answer.

  • Example:
What is the main purpose of a project charter?
    A. Define detailed project scope
    B. Authorize the project and assign a project manager
    C. Create the work breakdown structure
    D. Develop a risk register

2. Multiple Response

  • Questions that have two or more correct answers.

  • The question will specify how many options to select.
Example: Select TWO actions that help manage stakeholder expectations.

3. Drag and Drop

  • You will match items (e.g., process groups, documents, or tools) to their correct categories or sequence.
Example: Match each project artifact to its process group, we used fill in the lanks

4. Hotspot (Interactive)

  • You will click on a specific area in a diagram or chart (e.g., Gantt chart, network diagram, or burndown chart) that answers the question correctly.

5. Scenario-Based (Situational)

  • These are realistic, story-based questions assessing judgment and leadership.
Example: You’re leading a hybrid project, and a key stakeholder requests frequent changes. What should you do first?

About 50% of the exam focuses on Agile/Hybrid scenarios and 50% on Predictive (Waterfall), ensuring a balanced test of knowledge and practical decision-making skills.
