While the core concepts covered in this course remain relevant for those with prior experience, I would not recommend this material for entry-level candidates in its current state. The content has become significantly outdated, as the step-by-step demonstrations no longer align with the current Jira interface and workflows. Even with my previous background in Jira, I found it difficult to reconcile the recorded projects with the live system. This discrepancy creates a steep and unnecessary learning curve, making it nearly impossible for a beginner to follow the instructions or navigate the platform effectively. To remain a viable resource, the practical walkthroughs require an immediate update to reflect the modern UI and updated navigation paths.

Good course for Jira beginners with important features for you to play with. I just would prefer a little more of practical examples.

The speaker is really knowledgeable and I learned a lot, but Jira has updated their user interface and this course is hard to follow along step by step. You kind of have to listen and click around to find the same features. It’s still a nice course, but I’d recommend finding another that was recorded in 2025+
