Not quite sure why people should purchase this course as there are free ones in youtube.. This runs on puppet 3 , and its atleast 3 years old .

The syntax of the examples are very different to the current version of Puppet 2018.1. So many examples are failing in the current default environment. Furthermore the default filesystem structure is also different to this training course. Most of the examples are not running in a standard installation.

I setup a home lab and had to deal with some challenges -.. as of this review ( june 2018 ) firstly - make sure to check dns settings and ensure connectivity between client and puppet master BEFORE installing puppetmaster or puppet. DNS is very important and if you get it wrong then the certificates are wrong and puppet will not work without accurate certificates. Good overview course otherwise.
